Walter McMillan, age 69 of Buchanan, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022. He was born on February 25, 1953, in Germany to the late George A. McMillan and the late Grace Cherry McMillan. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Alice McMillan.  Walter retired as a Staff Sergeant having served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Paulette Galloway McMillan of Buchanan; Daughters, Jonette Barrett of Ohio and Bridget Cash of Buchanan; grandchildren, Brittany Cash, Tyler Cash and Fidel Taboada; great grandchildren, Eliga Arp, Kylee Arp and several other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help from 9:00 AM until the service hour.

A funeral mass will be conducted at 10 A.M., on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 210 Old Center Point Rd. Carrollton, GA 30117, with Reverend Father Gaurav Shroff officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Bremen, GA.
