Mr. Walter Mitchell Daniel, age 35, of Fort Payne, Alabama formerly of Tallapoosa passed away Monday, August 1, 2011. Mr. Daniel was born in Carroll County on April 10, 1976. He was the son of Jerry Mitchell Daniel and the late Charlotte Horton Jolly. Mr. Daniel was a truck driver for Kennedy Trucking Company. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Gabriel Thompson. Survivors include his wife, Trudie Goodwin Daniel of Fort Payne, AL; one step-daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Kenneth Wright of Fruithurst, AL; one step-son and daughter-in-law, Darin and Ronda Thompson of Fort Payne, AL; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Renee and Michael Patterson of Rockmart; Annaclaire Daniel of Tallapoosa; four brothers, Tommy Daniel of Bremen, Taylor Daniel of Tallapoosa, Peyton Daniel of Tallapoosa and Grant Daniel of Tallapoosa; father and step-mother, Jerry and Kayla Daniel of Tallapoosa; six grandchildren, Stacie Thompson, J.D. Thompson, Ivey Thompson, Will Thompson, Logan Wright and Kaleb Wright; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chester Pesnell and Rev. Homer Husley officiating. Music will be rendered by Harold and Jeffrey Hulsey. Interment will follow in the Saint Michael Cemetery, Fruithurst, AL with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Ronnie Weldon, Jackie Dodd, Tommy Daniel, Bobby Williams, Kenneth Wright, Mark Abercrombie, Darin Thompson and Dillon Davis. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Keith Davis and Johnny Williams. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
