Vivian Patterson Raines, age 96 of Bremen, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. She was born on May 12, 1926 in Wilkinson County, Georgia, to the late Francis Webb Patterson and the late Mary Elizabeth Walden. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Miller Raines, Jr., her son, Troy Miller Raines, III. and siblings, Sara Frances Cummings, Alfred Webb Patterson, Juanita Nano and Raymond Walker Patterson.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Kathleen (Randy) Eaves; her other daughter, Barbara (Will) Dykes; grandchildren, Jared Randall Eaves (Amanda), Lauren Eaves O'Bryan (Matt), Ky Dykes (Liz) and Amanda Dykes Little (Jason); great grandchildren, Ashley Mae Eaves, Jase Randall Eaves, Henry Randall O'Bryan, Lucy Charlotte O'Bryan, Anna Grace Dykes, William Walker Dykes, Howard Brody Little and Tabitha Claire Little and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 2:00 PM from Tallapoosa East Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend David Blackwood officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family ask for contributions to be made to The Buchanan Library.
