Vivian Denise Brannon

Denise Brannon, age 71 of Buchanan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 2, 2026.  Born in Austell, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Oliver Van "OV" Brannon and the late Jeanette Horton Whitworth.  In addition to her parents, Denise is preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Yvette Brannon Castellon, and her brother, Richard "Dickey" Brannon.

Denise was self-described as the "black magic woman" who lived her life independent and free.  A world traveler, she spent her younger years modeling and traveling.  Denise lived her life on her own terms and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her sisters: Victoria Brannon and Candice Brannon Bella; her nieces, Nacole Mitchell Adams and Candice Brannon Ciotti; her nephews, Damian Garramone and Joey Garramone; great nieces, Desirae Marie Martinez and Chase Alexandra Griffiths; great nephew, Emmett Ciotti; and many extended family members.

In honoring Denise's wishes, she will be cremated.  A celebration of life for Denise is being planned at a later date.
