Mrs. Virginia Bradley Watkins, age 85, of 530 Northside Drive, Carrollton formerly of Buchanan passed away Friday, August 7, 2009. Mrs. Watkins was born in Carroll County on June 15, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Amos Bradley and the late Willie Mae Bone Bradley. She was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Watkins; three sisters, Lois Watkins, Edna Mowery and Geraldine Deering. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Clinton and Barbara Watkins of Villa Rica; one brother, Gene Bradley of Bremen; one grandchild, Angie Gentry; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, August 10, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. from Buchanan Cemetery with Rev. Chad Clifton officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
