Miss Virginia Lou Waters, age 76, of 112 Carrollton St., Buchanan passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008. Mrs. Waters was born in Haralson county on July 31, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Everett Thomas Waters and the late Fannie Lou Grubbs Waters. Miss Waters was a retired school teacher. Survivors include one brother-in-law, George Verner of Kennesaw; one niece, Lyn Bennett of Kennesaw; three nephews, Tom Verner of Pensacola, FL, Tim Verner of Mableton and Steve Verner of Dallas; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. from the Graveside from the Buchanan Cemetery with Mr. Tim Verner officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
