Violet "Vi" Hazel Southworth Cater, age 80 of Bowdon, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. She was born on February 23, 1941 in Michigan.

Survivors include her husband Larry Cater of Bowdon; daughter, Bambi Mills of Queen Creek, AZ; son and daughter-in-law, David and Deanna Southworth of Muscadine, AL; step-daughter, Sherry Smith of Temple; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Jennifer Cater of Ranburne, AL, Scott and Yvette Cater of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren and their spouses, Tyler and Kristi Southworth, Taylor Southworth, Jeremy and Tammy Keenan, Chrissy and Ron VanLew, Briley Freeman; step- grandson and his spouse, Chad and Wendy New; fourteen great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Vi's wishes she will be cremated.
