Obituary

Vicky Lynne Elliott, age 68 of Cedartown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.  Born on January 5, 1957, at Moody Air Force Base in south Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Norman Elliott and the late Brencie Arrowood Hitchcock.  In addition to her parents, Vicky was preceded in death by two siblings, Barry Hitchcock and Debbie Bell, and husband, William C. Morris.

Being part of a military family, Vicky spent her younger years living in many different states including Iowa.  She worked for more than thirty years in food distribution as a customer service specialist. Vicky was a strong woman who made sure her children had everything they needed and encouraged them in all their activities.  An avid Atlanta Braves fan, she spent many hours cheering them on.  She had a love of all things "Tweety Bird" and anything with snowmen on it.   Vicky was also an animal lover and especially loved her cats and dog.  However, her passion was her family, and she adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Beth & Jim Vaughn of Bremen, Marie & Alan Jones of Bremen, and Joey Addison of Cedartown; her precious grandchildren: JoAnna, Spud, Jon, Zachary, Destiny, Cade, Haley, Tyler, Dana, Taylor, Brencie, and Bradley; and a number of great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her siblings: Bruce (Anna) Elliott, Kim Prince, Bo (Kelly) Moody, Kathy (Larry) Sweat, Traci (Randall) Holley, Kimberly Hitchcock, Trisha (Jerry Eckrich) Elliott, Barbie (Jeff) Rus, and Dan Elliott; the father of her children, Joseph C. Addison; her step-mother, Mary Elliott; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
