Ms. Vesta Lou York Carroll, age 83, of Buchanan passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011. Ms. Carroll was born in Anniston, Alabama on October 7, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Arthur York and the late Georgia Haney York. Ms. Carroll was a retired seamstress with Arrow Shirt Company and also owned and operated a hair salon. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by five grandchildren, Kim Blanck, Amy, Kristy and Lonnie Staper and Shannon LaBonte; one great grandson, Ethan (E-Man) Blanck; two sisters; and five brothers. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Hal Cash of Waco, Sara and Troy Stapler of Buchanan, Shelby and Earnest House of Temple and Linda and Bruce Manning of Gilbert, Arizona; one son, Wendell Carroll; two sisters, Myrlin Fortson and Eugenia Lorrens; two sisters-in-law, Janice Jones and Reba Carroll; fifteen grandchildren, Chris Cash, Mike Cash, Rob Cash, Erik Blanck, Stasia Addison, Jill Aldridge, Talisa Gibbs, Wendy Stapler, Suzanne Robinson, Ben Robinson, Michele Norton, Julie Levesque, Christy Davis, Jeremy Manning and Jared Manning; twenty eight great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 25, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Minister Sidney White officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jeremy Manning, Jared Manning, Micah Cash, Jake Cash, Nick Cash, Keith Harper, Ben Robinson and Jeff Davis. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
