Mr. Vernon Speight Felton, Jr., age 63, of Villa Rica passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016.  Mr. Felton was born in Asheboro, North Carolina on April 17, 1953.  He was the son of the late Vernon Speight Felton and the late Marian Sockwell Felton.  Mr. Felton was a salesman for Marietta Fence Company.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Katherine Sanchez and Lindsey and Andrew Canary all of Villa Rica; ex-wife and best friend, Melanie Felton of Villa Rica; one sister and brother-in-law, Nan and Steve Hughes of Marietta; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Bob and Elaine Felton of South Carolina and Bill Felton of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Hayden Canary, Tyler Canary, Triston Sanchez and Bradley Sanchez; three nieces, Paige Hughes, Amy Hughes and Baili Felton; one nephew, Bobby Felton; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.

In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, he was cremated.
