Mrs. Verna North McStotts, age 75 of Adairsville, formerly of Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Ashland, AL,  on November 25, 1946, to the late James and Louise Monroe Hutchinson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Rodgers A. North; and her brothers, Charles Hutchison and Nelton Hutchison.

Survivors include her husband, Jay McStotts; her sons and daughter-in-law, James David Cline and Jacky Junior (Crystal) Cline; Step-sons, Greg North, Kevin North, William (Heidi) McStotts, and Johnny McStotts; stepdaughters, Lisa (Mike) Barton and Michelle North; a sister, Jeanette Kilgore; a brother and sisters-in-law, Webb (Kay) Hutchinson and Carole Hutchison. grandchildren, Candace (Josh) Muse, Caitlin (Michael) Duncan, Chris Boyd, Amanda Boyd, Stetson McStotts, Josh Cline, Ashlyn Skidmore, Luke North, and Angela North Wheat; and great-grandchildren, Breanna McStotts, Julianna McStotts, Aslyn Barton, Emma Barton, Aiden Muse, Cameron Muse, Mila Muse, Lennox Duncan, and Annabel Duncan.  Also surviving are a nephew, Terry Brown; and nieces, Wanda Estes, Lisa Monroe, Christy Frank, Cindy Adcock, and Carla Hutchison.

The family will host a celebration of life for Mrs. Verna McStotts on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm from Journey Fellowship Baptist Church in Bremen, GA,  with Rev. John Lemmings officiating.
