Mrs. Velma Virginia Duncan Vines, age 85, of Bremen passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010. Mrs. Vines was born in Haralson County on January 5, 1925. She was the daughter of the late John and Eula Duncan. Mrs. Vines was a retired nursing assistant. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Vines; one daughter, Virginia Dale Dutton; and one son, Dennis Vines. Survivors include grandchildren, Dana Shae Gipson, Angie Vines, Brandy Emerson, Corey Vines, Josh Dutton and David Dutton; great grandchildren, Stephanie Dempsey, Cheyenne Hulsey, Terry Gipson, Charlie Dutton, II, Michael Lackey, Corey Vines and Courtney Vines; great great grandchildren, Dakota Lackey and Trenton Emerson; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Josh Dutton and Rev. Mark Hanson officiating. Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
