Tyler Donavan Humphries, age 22, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023.  Born on June 24, 2001, in Austell, GA, he was the son of Alisha Hulvey and Donald Ray Humphries, Jr.  Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his great-grandparents.

Tyler, a 2019 graduate of Mt. Zion High School, was everyone's sunshine.  His loving happy nature and positive attitude was contagious and could brighten any room.  Listening to music and playing pool were two of his favorite pastimes.. He worked hard and was a very proud young man. Tyler dearly loved his family and friends, but most of all he loved his job of being a dad and taking care of his son Rhett

Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Alisha and Shane Hulvey of Rockmart, Donald Humphries and Kelly of Cookeville, TN; his precious son Rhett Humphries; his brothers, James Austin Humphries of Rockmart, Cody Ray Humphries and his son Leo Ray Humphries of Bowdon, and Jacob Skyler Humphries of Alabama; and his significant other, Jessica Leffler.  Also surviving are his uncles and aunts: Donnie and Amber Mapp, Bobby and Heather Payne, Linda Ingram, Sandy Humphries, and Lela and Jeremy Wood; and many friends who loved Tyler.

The funeral service for Tyler will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 4:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rick Rayburn officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Tallapoosa.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 3:00 PM until the funeral hour..

Memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to help with Tyler's funeral expenses.
