Twyla Denise Rowell Summerville, age 61 of Carrollton, passed away on June 2, 2024. She was born on June 23, 1962, to the late Hubert Roy Rowell and the late Katie Ethel Fay Adams Rowell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Rowell, Charles Rowell and Scotty Rowell and sisters, Wilma Rowell and Hazel Patterson.

A lover of life, Twyla found enjoyment in everything she did. Some of her favorite hobbies were taking photos, watching butterflies, tending to flowers and dancing.  Twyla loved having a good time and spending her time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  A true believer in Christ, she has gained her angel wings and will be dearly missed by her loving family.

Survivors include, her daughter, Stephanie Summerville Sarkar (William Chambers) of Carrollton; son and daughter -in-law, Stanley Lee Summerville (Lindsay) of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Curtis Rowell (Debbie) of Marietta; grandchildren, Michael (Lacey) Summerville, Brianna (Dillon) Lovell, Alexis (Donovan) Tullis, Brayden Summerville, Elijah McClure and Aliyah Sarkar; great grandchildren, Mahkinna Lovell, Brantley Summerville and Liam Lovell and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Twyla's wishes she will be cremated.

The family will host a celebration of her life on June 23, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Twyla's residence.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
