Mrs. Twyla Marie Boyce Rakestraw, age 50, of Cedartown passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015.  Mrs. Rakestraw was born in Carrollton, Georgia on June 6, 1964.  She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Boyce and the late Mary Marie Owens Boyce.  Mrs. Rakestraw was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, David Rakestraw of Cedartown; one son, Colby Boyce and his fiancé Nikki Waddell of Carrollton; one daughter Kristy Boyce Golden of Cedartown; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Vickie Boyce of Cedartown; four grandchildren, Jacob Boyce, Blaine Boyce, Samantha Thompson and Tyler Golden; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Dr. Allen Wilburn officiating.  Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry.  Interment will follow in Tallapoosa East Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. through 3:00 P.M.
