Mr. Troy Edward Wood, age 70, of Tallapoosa passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015.  Mr. Wood was born in Haralson County on September 9, 1944.  He was the son of the late Robert B. Wood and the late Vera Warner Wood.  Mr. Wood was retired form Southwire.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife June Feltrinelli and son Joseph Harold Wood.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Aldridge of Wise, VA; one son, Robert "Robin" Wood of Tallapoosa; one sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Buck Adamson of Bowdon; one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Barbara Wood of Tallapoosa; two grandchildren, Tiffany Aldridge and Brianna Aldridge; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Leonard Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
