Troy Franklin Fennell, Sr.

Troy Franklin Fennell, Sr., age 70 of Cedartown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.  Bron in Oneonta, Alabama, on April 26, 1956, he was the son of the late James A. Fennell, Sr. and the late Faye McFall Fennell.  In addition to his parents, Troy is preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Pennington.  

After high school, Troy spent many years as a mechanic.  He truly loved tinkering with cars.  In his leisure time, Troy enjoyed fishing.

His survivors include his sons: Troy F. Fennell, Jr., Timmy Fennell, and Stephen Fennell; his sister and brother-in-law, Janette & Carl Sponsel; his brother, James A. Fennell, Jr.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service for Troy Fennell will be conducted at Noon on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM.
