Obituary

Mr. Troy Ollen Bush, age 82, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014.  Mr. Bush was born in Haralson County on March 9, 1931.  He was the son of the late Oscar Bush and the late Della Key Bush.  Mr. Bush was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired as the Public Works Director for the City of Buchanan.  He also was currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Buchanan Housing Authority.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Morris Bush.


Survivors include one daughter, Kay Boatright of Carrollton; three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Tammy Bush of Cedartown, Wayne and Sherry Bush of Tallapoosa and Mark and Cindy Bush of Buchanan; two sisters, Nora Thomas of Perry and Sara Williams of Cedartown; eight grandchildren, Kevin Bush, Dana Baker, Adam Bush, Ashley Bush, Zachary Bush, Brittany Young, Tiffany Boatright and Lance Rayburn; seven great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.


Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Danny Hutcheson officiating.  Music will be rendered by Bernard Whitton.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
