Mr. Travis Evan Hutcheson, age 48, of Rome passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017.  Mr. Hutcheson was born in Carrollton, Georgia, on May 1, 1969.  He was the son of the late Radford Hutcheson and the late Shirley Evans Hutcheson.  Mr. Hutcheson was a graduate of Cedartown High School and was the President and owner of Hutcheson Transportation.

Survivors include his wife, Amber Tallent Hutcheson of Rome; one son, Heath Hutcheson of Rome; one sister, Julie Hutcheson of Cedartown; one brother-in-law, Gabe Tallent of Chattanooga, TN; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Sandra Tallent of Sumerville; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jether Cochran officiating.  Entombment will follow at a later date in the family mausoleum in Fort Payne, Alabama.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
