Tony Lee Edwards, age 70 of Temple, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 10, 2025.  Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 11, 1954, he was the son of the late Lawrence Edwards and the late Mary Lou Hill Riley.  Tony was a member of Truth Baptist Church in Bremen.

A man of faith, Tony loved the Lord and spent time every day reading his Bible.  Attending church and listening to gospel music were two of his favorite activities. Tony enjoyed being outdoors cutting his grass or fishing.  A devoted family man, he loved spending time with his family.  Tony will be dearly missed by his family and friends who loved him.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 52 years, Pamela Edwards of Temple; his daughters and son-in-law, Alicia Lewis of Heflin, Alabama, and Sonia and Toby Powers of Bremen; his precious grandchildren: Nathaniel Edwards, Anna Grace (Levi) Ray, Caitlyn Powers, and Julia Powers; his sweet great-grandchildren: Kynlee Edwards and Ella Ray; as well as a number of other family members.

Funeral services for Tony Edwards will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Toby Powers officiating.  Musical selections will be provided by Scott and Tessa Thomas.  Tony's final resting place will be Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica.

The family will receive friend at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.
