Mr. Tommy Gerald Read, Age 56, of Tallapoosa passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Mr. Read was born in Atlanta on August 19, 1957. He was the son of the late Frank Earl Read and the late Pansy Hazel Read. Mr. Read was a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mara Jordan and her husband, along with two Grandchildren all of Tallapoosa.

In accordance with Mr. Read's wishes, the body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
