Tobias Anderson

Tobias Jedidiah Anderson, a cherished son, brother, father, and friend, passed away. Born on March 3, 1983, in Chicago, Illinois, Tobias was the son of Grant & Judith Anderson.

Tobias’s journey was one marked by dedication and warmth. A skilled heavy equipment operator, he built with his hands and cared for the earth through his lawn care work. But beyond his career, it was the gift of his personality that truly defined him. Gregarious and always full of laughter, Tobias brought light into every room with his infectious humor and deep compassion. Family was the cornerstone of Tobias’s world. His greatest joy was the simple, cherished moments spent together with loved ones. Tobias’s caring nature extended beyond the family circle—he was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer support to those around him. His passion for music, particularly his fondness for Guns N’ Roses, was a reflection of his dynamic and fervent spirit. His laughter echoes still, his kindness endures, and his spirit lives on in the memories and lives of his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Grant and Judy Anderson of Buchanan, and his siblings Catherine, Sharon, Brent, Tammy, Brage, Eric, Robert Sr, Richard, Micah, Rachel, and Seth, who each carry pieces of his love and spirit within them. Above all, he was a devoted father to his daughter Ava Noriah Anderson, whose presence was a source of endless pride and joy in his life.

To honor and remember the life of Tobias Jedidiah Anderson, a Funeral Service will be held on March 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, located at 2692 Monroe Mill Road, Buchanan, GA 30113. He will be laid to rest in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday at the church from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
