Mr. Thomas Arvel Burnette age 64, of Tallapoosa, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013. He was born in McCaysville, GA. on Saturday, September 10, 1949. He was the son of the late Arvel Burnette and the late Mary Lou (Godfrey) Burnette.

He is survived by his wife Shelia (Junior) Burnette of Tallapoosa and a number of other relatives. Mr. Burnette served his country in the United States Army from 1969 – 1973, he was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life as well as fishing, hunting, and spending time with his friends and family.
