Mr. Thomas Arthur Baggett, age 98, of Waco passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015.  Mr. Baggett was born in Paulding County, Georgia on September 18, 1916.  He was the son of the late Arthur Allen Baggett and the late Claudia Beall.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Ruth Cohran Baggett and his second wife, Nellie Elizbeth Morris Baggett; one son, Jasper Bagget; and a number of other relatives.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Joan and Rod Lipham of Tallapoosa, Jane Pointer of Waco and Elaine and John Stogner of Waco; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Tina Baggett of Waco, Harold and Connie Bagget of Tallapoosa, Dewayne and Teresa Baggett of Waco and Tommy and Elaine Baggett of Tallapoosa; two step-daughters and one step son-in-law, Betty Luker of Tallapoosa and Sara and David Huckabee of Fruithurst, AL; one step-son and step daughter-in-law, Buddy and Shirley McKenzie of Tallapoosa; and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Williams, Rev. Kathy Gooden and Mr. Jarvis Taylor officiating.  Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Paulding County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
