Mr. Thomas Joseph Armstrong, age 46, of Buchanan passed away Monday, July 2, 2012. Mr. Armstrong was born in Rockmart, Georgia on August 1, 1965. He was the son of the late Sanford Armstrong and Annie Estell Williams Armstrong.

Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Armstrong of Buchanan and Amy Thomas of Branford, FL; one step-daughter, Brandy McGraw of Bell, FL; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sandra and Lynn Roper of Buchanan and Dee Armstrong of Decatur; one brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Kim Armstrong of Ellijay; two grandchildren, Chaz Dyer and Isabella Thomas; one step-grandchild, Annabella McGraw; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Shoemaker officiating. Music will be rendered by Veronda Shoemaker.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
