Theresa Dale Ball, affectionately known as Terri, passed away suddenly on March 11, 2026, in a Rome hospital. Born Theresa Dale Manus on January 19, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Frank Wayne Manus and the late Marie Gray Manus. In addition to her parents, Terri is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ball, Sr.
Terri was much more than a skilled nail technician and successful salon owner; she was an artist who delighted in making people feel beautiful. She was always impeccably put together, a reflection of the grace and care she infused into every part of her life. Beyond her professional talents, Terri’s true joy came from the time she spent with her family. She cherished moments with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A lover of the outdoors, Terri found peace and happiness in the sunshine and the calm rhythm of the beach. She enjoyed reading, the creativity of cooking, and the heartfelt connections fostered through entertaining her family. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for the vibrant spirit she shared so generously with the world.
Terri is survived by her beloved children, Tanya (Anthony Nichols) Turner of Cedartown, Robert Ball, Jr. of Kentucky, and Stephen Ball, Sr. of Alabama, along with her daughters-in-love, Saprina Vaughn and Lisa Harrison. Her legacy lives on in her cherished grandchildren—Harlee, Halee, Cody, Madison, Dillon, Stephen Jr., Tara, and Tyler—and her treasured great-grandchildren Oaklee, Hunter, Preslee, Maicee, Rhett, Rhenleigh, Dakota, and Able.
