Mrs. Thelma Viola Rice, age 88, of Nolensville, Tennessee; formerly of Fort Payne, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Mrs. Rice was born August 11, 1920, Daughter of late George and Ara Bell Rhodes Riffe. Mrs. Rice was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Nolensville, Tennessee

Survivors include her son, Marshall T. Rice of Nolensville, TN. 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Jamestown, Alabama.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home, Fort Payne, Alabama.
