Terry Lynn Chambers, age 74 of Helfin, Alabama, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024.  Born in Bremen, Georgia, on June 15, 1950, he was the son of the late Tasker Eugene Chambers and the late Ruby Robinson Chambers.  In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by a daughter, Sonya Marika Chambers, a brother, Larry Chambers, and the mother of his children, Danna Chambers.

Terry will be fondly remembered as being a very good father to Brandon. For many years he worked at Smith's Market in the meat department and then retired after 15 years from the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Carrollton.  In his spare time, Terry raised miniature horses and mules.  He and Brandon enjoyed wagon riding and would sometimes take a picnic lunch and ride all day.  He will be dearly missed by those who loved him.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Brandon Chambers of Waco; his brothers and sister-in-law, Randy Chambers of Bowdon and Donnie (Glenda) Chambers of Muscadine and sister-in-law Marian Williams.  Also surviving are his nieces: Misty Chambers, Debbie Chambers, and Amanda Chambers Roberts; his nephews: Troy Chambers, Jared Chambers, and Chad Chambers; and his close friend, Donnie McCarty.

A visitation and viewing for Terry Chambers will be held on Thursday, November 21st, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  Following the visitation, he will be cremated.

The family will host a memorial service on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM from Waco Baptist Church.  Officiating will be Rev. Andy Horton, Rev. Anthony Puckett and  Chaplain Paul.
