Miss Terri Lynn Phillips, age 38, of 56 Griffith St., Buchanan passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Miss Phillips was born in Carroll County on February 15, 1972. She was the daughter of the late John R. Phillips and Lillian Ragan Phillips of Buchanan. Miss Phillips was employed as the office manager at the Key Foundation. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Lee and one nephew, Joe Lee. Survivors her mother Lillian Ragan Phillips of Buchanan; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert E.,, Jr. and Margie Lee of Buchanan; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives as well as a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from New Vision Church of God in Buchanan with Rev. Jason Spray and her friends officiating. Interment will follow in the Tallapoosa East Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Heath Lee, Jason Cash, Bryan Eaves, Todd Gooden, Johnny Cook, Chris Bacon, Chad Taylor, Shane Davidson, Donald Langley, Marquis Carter, Mike Zimmerman, Ernest Washington and Hugh Norton. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be friends of UPS. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
