Ms. T. Carole Shadrix Hobbs, age 64, of Bremen passed away at her residence Saturday, September 17, 2016.  Carole was born in Bremen, Georgia, on January 8, 1952, the daughter of the late V.W. "Bay" Shadrix and the late Ruby Carden Shadrix.  She was a member of the last graduating class of Buchanan High School, Class of 1970. Carole was retired from AT&T with thirty one years' service.  After retiring from AT&T, she worked for the Haralson County Probation Office from 2005 until 2009.  She was a member of Poseyville United Methodist Church.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Shadrix.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Crystal Hobbs of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Brenda Shadrix of Bremen; two grandchildren, Amos and Anastasia Hobbs; three nephews, Brian and Kimberly Shadrix and Alan and Tina Shadrix all of Bremen and Jason and Kimberley Shadrix of Toano, VA, and a number of other relatives along with many friends.

Memorial services will be conducted Monday, September 19, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. from Poseyville United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Stinson and Patty Hutcheson officiating.  Inurnment will follow in Poseyville United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Duane McManus officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
