Mr. Sylvester Eugene Lyle, age 86, of Buchanan passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014.  Mr. Lyle was born in Haralson County on April 15, 1927.  He was the son of the late Jessie and Velvie Lyle.  Mr. Lyle was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a retired painter.

In accordance with Mr. Lyle's wishes, he was cremated and no services have been planned at this time.
