Mrs. Syble JoAnn Gravett Garmon, age 77, of Fruithurst, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017.  Mrs. Garmon was born in Polk County, Georgia, on March 8, 1939.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph Gravett and the late Ruby Ely Gravett.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Rance Vansant of Monroe; one brother and sister-in-law, James Gravett of Albany; and a number of other relatives.

Private graveside services will be conducted.  In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, she was cremated.
