Ms. Susan Yvonne Gentry, age 54, of 2811 West 11th Street, Panama City, Florida passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009. Ms. Gentry was born in Carroll County on November 29, 1954. She was the daughter of the late V.L. Gentry and the late Robbie Carroll Gentry. Survivors include two sons, William Blake Thomas of Princeton, KY and Mick Gentry Thomas of Fort Walton, FL; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Diane Davidson of Rockmart, Judy and Charles Wheeler of Waco and Vicki Shepherd Waco; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joey Davidson officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry. Interment will follow in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with following serving as pallbearers: Donnie Carroll, Jerry Hagan, Colt Wheeler, Diane Davidson, Judy Wheeler and Vicki Shepherd. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
