Mr. Starlin Capus Helton, age 77, of 2327 Hwy. 27 North, Carrollton passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Mr. Helton was born in Carroll County on February 22, 1933. He was the son of the late Ulen Helton and Jewell Gladys Redding Helton. Mr. Helton was a carpenter. Survivors include two daughters, Jacki LaFollette of Temple and Debra Jack of Ashville, NC; one son, Marty Helton of Sand Lake, MI; mother, Jewell Gladys Helton of Buchanan; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date. The body was cremated. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
