Sindi Hearn Thompson, age 38 of Villa Rica, died peacefully Sunday, March 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, on December 17, 1985. Sindi is preceded in death by her mother Lusinda Ann Yoho Posey.

Sindi was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Taking care of others was her passion as was evidenced by her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  Her inner beauty was matched only by her outer beauty.  Sindi enjoyed all things beautiful and she especially enjoyed taking care of her flowers.  Her greatest accomplishment were her children and she dearly loved her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Phillip Thompson; her children, Lily Hearn, Brittany Thompson, Phillip Owen Thompson, Max Todd Craig, and Thomas Jeffrey Thompson; her dad, Dan Carey; her sister, Carmen Posey; and her brothers George Posey and Travis Carey.  Also surviving are her eight grandchildren: one great-grandchild, her grandmother, Sindie Whitehead, and other extended family and many friends.

In accordance with her wishes, Sindi will be cremated.  The family is planning a celebration of her life at a later date.
