Mrs. Shirley Ann McDonald Halorday, age 69, of Bremen passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016. Mrs. Halorday was born in Austin, Texas on October 1, 1946.  She was the daughter of the late James McDonald and the late Pearl Davis McDonald.  Mrs. Halorday was a retired loan analyst with the United States Department of Education.

Survivors include her husband, Samal S. Halorday of Bremen; one daughter, Shana Jordan and her fiancé, Trenton Sims of Douglasville; two sons, Stephen and his wife, Denise Halorday of Virginia and Sheldon Halorday of Tallapoosa; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.  In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, she was cremated.
