Sherie Elizabeth Dillard

Sherie Elizabeth Dillard passed away Monday, June 22, 2026.  Born in Lithia Springs, Georgia, on March 4, 1990, she was the daughter of Joan Pruitt Dillard and the late George H. Dillard.  In addition to her father, Sherie is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Emmy Lou; her brother, Christopher Dillard; and her grandparents: A.D. & Sherry Pruitt and George & Betty Dillard.

Sherie enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing.  She also enjoyed searching for deals on her thrifting expeditions and had a number of purses and beloved shoes.  Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Justin Ledford; her mother, Joan Dillard; her daughter Destiny Dillard; her son, Mason Ledford; her aunt, Dena Self; and her uncle, Allan Pruitt.  Also surviving are nieces Gilli and Chloe, and cousins Jesse Self, Laekyn Self, and Travis Self; and numerous friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes, Sherie was cremated.  The family will host a memorial service for Sherie at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the cremation.
