Ms. Shelma Jean Payton Emory, age 55, of Adairsville passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Ms. Emory was born in Dallas, Georgia on July 21, 1958.  She was the daughter of the late Cecil Wayne Payton and the late Fannie Pearl Head Payton.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
