Sheila Dawn Lambert Peterson, age 67 of Franklin, passed away peacefully Monday, June 23, 2025.  Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 1, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Gene Lambert and the late Elaine Bostwick Lambert. In addition to her parents, Sheila is preceded in death by her brothers, Gene Lambert and Brandon Lambert.

Sheila grew up in College Park and later moved to the West Georgia area.  A people person, she enjoyed helping and pleasing people.  Sheila loved jewelry and spent some years working in the jewelry business.  Her favorite place to vacation was the beach where she spent hours listening to the ocean.  Sheila will be dearly missed by her family and her special fur-baby, Willow.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Jeremy Peterson and Joshua Allen Peterson; the boys' father, David Peterson; and one brother, Chris Lambert and his wife Paula.  Also surviving are three grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one nephew and three nieces.

In keeping with Sheila's wishes, she was cremated.
