Ms. Sharon Joreen Raitz Hawkins, age 64, of 757 Nitra Rd., Bremen passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009. Mrs. Hawkins was born in Yakima County, Washington on October 29, 1944. She was the daughter of Kenneth Raitz of Seattle, WA and the late Ermina Ladeen Raitz. Ms. Hawkins was a homemaker. Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, D.J. and Britt Bonds of Birmingham, AL, Laura and Todd Darnell of Dalton, Heather Hawkins of Carrollton and Beth and Reggie Johnson of Bremen; father, Kenneth Raitz, Sr. of Seattle, WA; one sister, Sharla Raitz of Washington; one brother, Kenneth Raitz of Bothel, WA; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. form Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Brother David Ayers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Following the service the body will be cremated. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, March 15, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from the Rocky Face Baptist Church in Rocky Face, GA with Rev. Jim Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Face Baptist Church Cemetery. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
