Mr. Seckress Farrell Owen, age 56, of Dallas passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Mr. Owen was born in Cobb County on March 1, 1955. He was the son of the late Paul Owen and Velma Tate Owen. Mr. Owen was employed by T.C. Erosion Company.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Copeland Owen of Dallas; one daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and John Fritchman of Dallas; one son and daughter-in-law, David Wayne and Angel Owen of Dallas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sue and Chris Jenkins of Texas and Connie McCullough of Dallas; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Parker and Rev. Jason Hudgens officiating. Music will be rendered by Danny Parker and Chuck Copeland.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
