Seaman Cody Douglas Clark, age 19, of Smyrna formerly of Buchanan passed away Monday, August 9, 2010. Mr. Clark was born in Sacramento, California on May 26, 1991. Seaman Clark was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base, Illinois. Survivors include his mother, Roberta Francine Clark Smith of Atlanta; father, James Clevenger of Smyrna; one sister, Olivia Clevenger of Smyrna; step-mother, Christine Boynton of Savannah; grandmother, Martha Brooks of Buchanan; grandfather, John Clark of Marietta; step- grandfather, Mark Urick of Acworth; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 16, 2010 at 5:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel. Full military honors will be rendered by the United States Navy. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
