Mrs. Sarah Mae McKinzey Huckeba, age 77, of Fruithurst, Alabama passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016.  Mrs. Huckeba was born in Fruithurst, Alabama on February 5, 1939.  She was the daughter of the late William Hamilton McKinzey and the late Nellie E. Morris Baggett.  Mrs. Huckeba was retired from Dixie Steel in Tallapoosa, Georgia.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Dianne Williams; two brothers, Daniel McKinzey and Ardel McKinzey; and step-father, Thomas Baggett.

Survivors include her husband, John David Huckeba of Fruithurst, AL; three sons, Johnny and his wife Diane Williams of Tallapoosa, Jimmy and his wife Sherrie Williams of Bremen and Joel and his wife Elease Huckeba of Moody, AL; one sister, Betty Luker of Buchanan; one brother, Leo "Buddy" and his wife Shirley McKinzey of Tallapoosa; seven grandchildren, Jamie and Brian Finley, Shannon and Randi Williams, Christy Nelson, Jessie and Katie Williams, Ashley Williams, Jaxon Huckeba, and Jillian Huckeba; and five great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. (Georgia Time) from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jessie Williams and Rev. Randall Moore officiating and with granddaughters Jamie Finley and Christy Nelson delivering the eulogy.  Music will be rendered by Katie Williams, Ashton Shirley, and Harold McWhorter.  Interment will follow in Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Fruithurst, Alabama.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. (Georgia Time).
