Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Foster Cox, age 80, of 176 King James Dr., Dallas passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008. Mrs. Cox was born in Carroll County on May 20, 1928. She was the daughter of the late George Manual Foster, Sr. and the late Mary Ellen Mabry Cox. Mrs. Cox was retired from Sewell Manufacturing Company. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Cox; one daughter, Kathy Knipl; and one sister, Olivia Bell. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Clovis and Jimmy Pruitt of Dallas; four sisters, Clara Hatfield of Bowdon, Ruth Snow of Bremen, Fay Nell Pitts of Creston, NC and Beatrice Hancock of Villa Rica; one brother and sister-in-law, George M. and Jeanette Foster, Jr. of Villa Rica; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tommy Young officiating. Music will be rendered by Nancy Blacksmith and Paula Roper. Interment will follow in the Jennings Chapel Cemetery in Centre. AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
