Sandra J. Nelson

Sandra J. Nelson, age 84 formerly of Clinton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2026.  She was the daughter of the late Edwin Arthur Nelson and the late Frances Lillian Nelson.  In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her brother, Donald Nelson, and her sister, Phyllis Feirn.

Sandra was born in Wisconsin and lived there for all but the last six weeks of her life.  She worked for over 45 years as a bookkeeper at a law firm. Being an avid sports fan, she was a die-hard Wisconsin Badgers' fan, Green Bay Packers fan, Milwaukee Brewers fan, and the minor hockey team, the Milwaukee Admirals, fan. Sandra even traveled to Atlanta back in 1996 to attend the Olympic games.  Travel was one of her favorite pastimes, as was spending time and traveling with her special group of friends. Sandra loved her family dearly and moved to Georgia to be near her surviving nieces and nephews. Her adventuresome spirit will be missed by all who loved her.

Sandra's survivors include her nieces: Maria (Bruce) Ashmore and Lynette (Jimmy) Cook; her nephews: Bradley (Stephanie) Feirnn and Scott (Heather) Feirn; six great nieces and one great nephew; and 6 great-great nieces and 3 great-great nephews.

In keeping with Sandra's wishes, she will be cremated.  She will be taken back to Wisconsin to be laid to rest at a later date.
