Sandra Diane Sellers Hooper, age 78 of Cedartown, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, in a local hospital.  Born on April 1, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Waymon Keith Sellers and the late Imma Dean Baxter Sellers.  In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hooper, and her daughter Donna Padgett.

For many years and with her gregarious personality, Sandra was a door greeter at Wal-Mart in Rockmart.  She loved meeting people and always put others first.  Sandra was considered a "Little Mama" to the residents at Cedar Valley.  She made sure to check on her friends and truly enjoyed playing bingo and working with the arts and crafts there.  Her favorite singer of all time was Elvis Presley.  Her beautiful loving personality will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Brian & Joleah Chappell of Tallapoosa, Bobby Padgett of Rome, and Michael & Kim Chappell of Temple; her grandchildren: Krystle Oyola, Hunter & Josey Finley, Bailey Chappell, Trey Finley, Bryson Chappel, and Kaysen Finley; her brother and sister-in-law, Danny & Tonya Hunter of Elko; and many extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Sandra Hooper will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

In keeping with Sandra's wishes, she will be cremated.
