Samuel "Sambo" Lance Rayburn, 41 of Carrollton, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021. He was born on February 23, 1980 to the late Donna Lynn Collins Rayburn and Frankie Steve Rayburn.  Besides his mother he is preceded in death by his brother Jamie Baxter.

Samuel was a great father and friend. If you knew him you were lucky he would give you the shirt off his back and leave it at that. He would always be there when you needed him even if he wasn't on time. Sam was one of a kind and protected everyone he loved. He definitely loved his animals no matter what kind it was. He will be missed dearly. Gone way too soon but never forgotten.

Sam leaves behind his father, Frankie Steve Rayburn; daughters, Samuella Victoria LaShea Ryburn of Carrollton, Anslee Fuller of Carrollton; son, Mason Smith of Carrollton; loving girlfriend, Kristen Blankenberg of Carrollton; his two loving siblings, Noel Rayburn and Christopher Eric Rayburn; five nephews; three nieces and is expecting his first grandson and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Sam's wishes he will be cremated.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial donations to be made to Frankie Rayburn to help with Sam's final expenses and can be sent to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 491 Buchanan, GA 30113.
