Mr. Samuel A. Hughes, age 71, of Buchanan passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018. He was born on July 25, 1947 and is the son of the late Harry Hughes and Clarissa Bash Hughes. He is also preceded in death by one daughter Kellie Wade.

Survivors include one granddaughter, Heather Wade of Tallapoosa; one sister, Mildred Norton and two brothers Joseph Hughes and William Hughes.

In keeping with Mr. Hughes wishes he was cremated.
