Mr. Samuel David Barlow, age 70, of Buchanan passed away Monday, January 31, 2011. Mr. Barlow was born in Rising Sun, Maryland on June 9, 1940. He was the son of the late Harvey Franklin Barlow and the late Anna Mae Troxel. Mr. Barlow was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from Lockheed/Martin. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Barlow and Marvin Barlow. Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Adkinson Barlow of Buchanan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Tamara and Randy Goss of Powder Springs, Diana and Dwayne Neeley of Buchanan and Michelle and Peter Vilhauer of Camas, WA; one son and daughter-in-law, David Wayne and Brandi Barlow of Temple; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Ike Collins of Stanton, VA; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Minton and Dolly Barlow of Stuart''s Draft, VA, Carlton and Barbara Barlow of Bethany, OK, Leon and Betty Barlow of Valdosta, Frank and Nancy Barlow of Delta, PA, Tom and Rita Barlow of Roanoke, VA and Ted and Joyce Barlow of Mt. Solon, VA; ten grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 4, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Tallapoosa-East Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Bryce Neeley, Seth Neeley, Jordan Goss, Charlie Crane, Wayne Bryant, Ryan Vilhauer and Zachary Goss. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
