Mrs. Sally Kate Brown Thomasson, age 85, of 326 Lakeview Drive, Bremen passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Mrs. Thomasson was born in Haralson County on August 1, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Starlin Brown and Bessie Mae Cole Brown. Mrs. Thomasson was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Thomasson. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Garey and Trisha Thomasson of Buchanan and Jeff and Melinda Thomasson of Loganville; one brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Linda Brown of Pensacola, FL; two grandchildren, Stacey and her husband Jon Brock of Temple and Eliza Thomasson of Loganville; two great grandchildren, A.J. Brock of Temple and Marcela Brock of Dallas; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Dr. J. Howard Mills officiating. Music will be rendered by Eliza Thomasson accompanied by Stephen Butler. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. in North Atlanta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
